EOP offers holistic support to first-generation and low-income scholars in their transition, persistence, and long-term advancement at UC Davis. Our peer staff can be found hosting community events and services, providing holistic advising, and/or increasing EOP’s visibility across campus. The entire team is committed to sharing resources and advocating on behalf of the first-generation scholars’ community.

- Peer Advising Counselor (PAC) :
- PAC for Advising: During the academic year, this position primarily focuses on advising students during the EOP Center hours of operation.
- APPLY to be a PAC for Advising: LINK
- PAC for Event Planning: During the academic year, this position will work on a team to coordinate events centered around EOP pillars, community needs, and cohorts.

- During the summer, ALL PACs live in the residence halls and work for the Special Transitional Enrichment Program (STEP) from July 27, 2026 - September 11, 2026
- PAC for Advising: During the academic year, this position primarily focuses on advising students during the EOP Center hours of operation.
- Community Retention Advocate (CRA):
- During the academic year, the Community Retention Advocate develops and implements relevant events and services for first generation and low-income students. As community advocates, they assess the needs of EOP students and sit on campus committees to empower the EOP population. This position is eligible for compensation via inclusive stipend for student's engagement regardless of citizenship status.

- CRAs do not work during summer STEP.

- Graphic Designer:
- The Graphic Designer is a member of the EOP Communications team and responsible for creating, updating, and promoting The Center for the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) publications.
