The González Pre-Law Academy (GPLA) is designed for underrepresented students with demonstrated financial need who are interested in attending law school and pursuing a career in the legal field. People of color have been historically underrepresented in the legal profession, and the academy aims to help students break down barriers and overcome challenges in pursuing a career in law.
GPLA focuses on exposing students to the legal profession, preparing them for the law school application process and building a supportive professional network and peer and community. Students looking for a more hands-on opportunity are encouraged to apply for the González Pre-Law Academy one-year cohort experience.
