We are First Living Learning Community
We Are First is EOP’s living-learning community, offering a space to connect with other college students who are first in their families to attend college and to develop a campus family. In addition to living among students with similar identities and interests, there are opportunities to engage with EOP Peer Advising Counselors and First-Gen faculty and staff to foster an uplifting community through social events, advising sessions and first-generation retention services.
Living-learning communities are communities within the residence halls that provide an opportunity for students with shared identities or similar interests. The students live in the same hall or on the same floor. The communities allow students to enjoy unique activities and more traditional social and recreational opportunities.
