EOP offers holistic support to students who are first-generation and low-income in their transition, persistence, and long-term advancement at UC Davis. Our peer staff can be found leading innovative programs and events and providing holistic advising. The EOP team is committed to sharing resources and advocating on behalf of the EOP community.

Recruitment for the 2024-2025 year has concluded.
- Peer Advising Counselor (PAC):
- PAC for Advising: During the academic year, this position meets with EOP students to offer individual peer counseling, refer students to appropriate campus departments, and maintain day-to-day operations at the EOP Center
- PAC for Event Planning: During the academic year, this position works on teams to coordinate events focused on supporting the holistic needs of EOP students.
- During the summer, ALL PACs live in the residence halls and work for the Special Transitional Enrichment Program (STEP) from July 29 to September 12, 2024.
- Community Retention Advocate (CRA):
- Community Retention Advocates (CRAs) develop, coordinate, and implement events and services for students from first generation and historically low-income households, sit on campus committees to advocate for EOP students, collaborate with student leaders and assess the needs of EOP students through informal and formal feedback. This position is eligible for compensation via an inclusive stipend for student engagement regardless of citizenship status.
- CRAs do not work during summer STEP.
- Graphic Designers:
- The Graphic Designer is a member of the EOP Communications team and is responsible for creating and updating The Center for the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) publications and promotional materials. This position is eligible for compensation via an inclusive stipend for student engagement regardless of citizenship status.
- Graphic Designers do not work during summer STEP.
